Start: Sign of the Takahe.
Finish: Sign of the Kiwi.
Distance: 7 km.
Time: 5 and a bit hours
Toilets: Located at Victoria Park and Sign of the Kiwi.
There are a number of entry points on the track from Dyers Pass Road and from Victoria Park.
From Sign of the Takahe, head up the well maintained track and gradually climb through a mixture of native and exotic woodland before emerging on Summit Road.
Sign of the Kiwi is only about 100m from this point. most of the track is 240 m and the rest is 250m
