when people started to come to nz

In 1842 people started hoping on boats from England and got on their way they are leaving England because it was so polluted. it was bad to live in you would go black with pollution .

People started to get sick of it and they started coming to New Zealand for work and for a fresh start .

On the boat the wind was cold and people got sick but it was worth it .

When they got to the port and got off the boat and there was no pollution. They knew. It was going to be good. They spread out on to the new land to see what it had. After a few weeks they started to make huts and plant crops and hunt. They started to make cities for the new people that were arriving.
