What I Read Today

in reading today I read theory I did a bit of text called mallet instruments

a mallet is a big version of drum sticks   that are used for vibraphone and  marimba

A musician stands behind an instrument. She holds two sticks called "mallets" in her hands. The instrument has many rectangle-shaped bars called keys. Each one produces a different sound when the musician hits it with a mallet. What is this thing?

It might be a vibraphone. It’s large: usually over 4 feet long and around 3 feet tall. Its keys are made out of shiny metal, and each one has a tube called a resonator underneath. The vibraphone produces a smooth, mellow sound. It is often used in jazz music.

It might also be a marimba. It’s about as large as a vibraphone, and it has resonators too, but its keys are made of dark wood. It makes shorter, softer sounds.

Finally, it might be a glockenspiel. They're also sometimes called “bells” for short. It has thin metal bars and is played with small, hard mallets. Its sound is loud and high-pitched, and it has no resonators.

i am reading a book cald maus and i am on page 67 and i just got to the part were valadeck was in a camp and he got sent to slave werk and when he was at the slave place he broke out and snuck on to a trane and snuck home he went home to find out his mum had cancer and tow weeks after getting home his mum died and his wife anga had just had there son and at ferst the boy was not haddy put after a bit the was happy and they lived on happy so far i am in joying the book so far

i am reading muas and it is a good book so fare i am on page 54 and i have loved reading i am up to were the dad goes to war and and fights for the jues and then they get cort and put in to prisin and does not get out and the get bred crust and a little sope and that is all they get and they are in tents and they are made to do jobs and if they dont get them done they lose there food and they starve and they have to swim in a ice cold river

i am reading maus it is a bout jues and natzes  and the jues are mice and natzes are cats i got to page 38 and the war is about  to bigine and they have just got a kid and they are running from the natzes .

and the wife got sick so they had to go to the speshalish and when they came back the house got robed and they had nothing so they had to start from scrach and they goot back all there stuff and now they have to run from the natzes and that is all i have got to so far i am in joying the book so far
